This story will remind us that no matter where we are in life, things will always change for the better. It’s an incredible inspiration to draw from, encouraging us never to lose hope, and that help will come.
This is Lily, a stray rescued by Howl of a Dog in Romania last year. Even during her rescue, this warrior-hearted doggo displayed a gentle demeanor.
Lily was a little wary of humans at first, but she instinctively knew that better things were about to happen. She allowed her rescuers to put a leash on her without a peep.
The white dog from Romania stayed with the mentioned animal rescue organization for three months. She received medical attention, vaccinations, and a passport too.
Things were better for Lily, and while she enjoyed her time at the rescue shelter, she still didn’t have anyone to adopt her.
Three months later, her forever mama called all the way from Germany to adopt the dog. After sorting the doggo’s papers and going through the adoption process, Lily was on her way.
Tatjana, the lovely lady who owned a farm in Germany, excitedly welcomed Lily. This lucky dog returned the favor, taking her new environment in.
Lily also earned a new brother, Mako. The black-coated dog did zoomies around the farm, and Lily followed suit.
The property bordered a river, and take a look at that view – these two dogs are living the life, that’s for sure!
Lily also enjoyed saying hi to her friend, the horse, and an aloof llama who loved to chew on stuff. Lily accepted the diverse personalities in stride, and we’re not surprised if she made friends with the ducks too!
