In Los Angeles, California, a non-profit group that focuses on animal rescue has been saving animals since 2008. The group, founded by Eldad and Audrey Hagar, is called Hope for Paws Animal Rescue. It rescues animals that were abandoned, abused, and including the ones that are fighting death. A dog named Rosie was one of the lucky animals who benefited from this wonderful organization.
Rosieâs story
One day, someone saw a homeless dog wandering around the streets. So he called for help from rescuers, Hope for Paws Animal Rescue, because he saw that the dog needed help. Fortunately, the rescuers caught the dog fast because it was so hungry, and it got into their bait.
They named the dog Rosie and noticed that Rosie was lactating, which means that she has babies. So, the rescuers thought of saving her babies first before they could take Rosie with them. However, they had no idea where her babies were.
They tried different ways to find the puppiesâ location, but Rosie was not taking them there. But later, they finally got Rosie to start moving towards her babies when they started playing puppy sounds from a mobile phone. The sounds made her nervous, which probably made her think that her babies need her.
Hope for Paws found her adorable puppies, and there were five of them. At first, Rosie was hesitant to go closer to her babies, so the rescuers waited for Rosie to get there first before taking her babies. Then finally, Rosie went to her babies and showed the rescuers.
The rescuers started picking up her adorable babies and put them in a cardboard box so they could bring them to the shelter safely. Finally, Hope For Paws has succeeded in taking this charming family out of the dangerous streets. They will now be taken care of and soon will find a loving home.
