Receiving a gift from someone you love ultimately brings joy to the receiver. No matter what item one receives, the mere thought of a heartfelt gift makes a person eager to tinker with it.
Thus, it’s understandable for an adorable dog to do its best to stay awake and play with its newest toy. Though it’s apparent how sleepy the pooch is, it hilariously attempts to fend off sleepiness to enjoy its gift.
I want to play, Mommy!
In this short yet intriguing video, a curly-furred pooch named Kira sits quietly on the floor. By the looks of it, Kira needs to go to bed soon as Mom dimmed the lights in their living room.
However, even if Kira knows it’s bedtime, she doesn’t let go of the newest item in her toy collection – a bouncy ball. The pooch eagerly holds on to the ball in its mouth even as its eyes start to droop slowly.
It turns out, Kira recently went to the dentist to have her teeth checked. Perhaps the dentist gave the ball to Kira for being a good patient. Thus, it’s not surprising that Kira wanted to play with her new toy immediately.
Go to sleep now, Kira.
For a few seconds, Kira continued sitting on the floor while holding on to her ball. But, it looks like Kira’s slowly losing this battle to sleep as she soon glances towards her cozy bed.
True enough, the drowsy pooch could no longer hold onto its consciousness any longer as Kira soon saunters towards her doggy bed. But, even as she settles herself on the couch, one can see that the pooch continued to hold onto the ball.
