If you’ve seen Bull Terriers before, then you know that they look quite intimidating. Although these dogs are smaller than your average Pit Bulls, they have muscular bodies and unusual faces that will make you think twice before approaching one. However, contrary to what most people believe about Bull Terriers, these dogs are quite gentle, friendly, and can be loving.
A Bull Terrier named Nino proved that dogs like him can be best friends with other animals. It all started when Nino’s mom rescued a baby goose named Rillette from a farm. Rillette had no family and was constantly crying when she was brought home by Nino’s family.
Nino’s mom, Aurore, wasn’t really sure how Nino or Rillette would react when they meet each other. However, because Aurore trusted Nino and knew him to be a timid dog, she decided to introduce him to Rillette on the day that they brought her home. When Aurore opened the box where Rillette was being kept, the first thing Rillette saw was Nino.
Rillette was crying nonstop but Nino was so gentle with her and continued sniffing her. Aurore wasn’t sure how Rillette would react to Nino but after five minutes of meeting each other, Rillette started following Nino. Nino also acted like a big brother for Rillette and the two started to play with each other every single day.
During the day, Nino would wake up Aurore so she could take him to see Rillette. Once Aurore lets Rillette out of her house, Nino would get so excited that he couldn’t stop running back and forth. Nino and Rillette would then spend an hour playing and chasing each other.
When Nino gets tired, he would take a nap but Rillette would always try and wake him up to play some more. Rillette would step on Nino’s head to wake him up and she would let out this honk like she was laughing at her big brother. It’s truly hilarious seeing how Nino and Rillette developed such an amazing bond.
Rillette looks up to Nino like a little sister would to a big brother. Nino also gained so much confidence and completely changed into such an energetic dog when he became Rillette’s big brother.
