First-time encounters can be a little bit scary. It’s mainly because we don’t know who, when, where, why, and what we’re dealing with.
This Belgian Shepherd felt a tad antsy when he was introduced to a sour snack. The tidbit’s a lemon, but he has never encountered one like this before.
Mom held the lemon in her hand while her pet checked the fruit out. The dog probably wondered why it’s so different from the rest of the stuff he tried before.
It had a zesty smell, and it’s lovely. However, when he gave it a taste, it had a sour but bitter flavor. It’s quite different from the other lemons he had tried in the past.
Mom told him to go get it, and the dog obediently complied. He didn’t quite know how to handle the lemon effectively, though, so this doggo didn’t have much success with it.
All the Belgian could do was watch, growl, and bite at the lemon. He’d quickly drop the sour and bitter lemon down and this went on for quite some time.
Zesty fruit
No matter the kind of approach this Belgian made, he always ended up putting the lemon down. Perhaps he didn’t see the point, and he certainly didn’t like the taste of it.
What’s important to note, though, is that this doggo plucked the courage to continue learning all about it. This dog’s actions are similar to ours in the face of uncertain situations.
That’s why we give this dog mad props for being brave enough to explore things. His positive attitude certainly gives him an edge that no bitter lemons could sway.
