You have to admit that, as dog lovers, you would want to pet every dog that you come across whenever you see one. Dogs are incredibly adorable, and they’re also playful and friendly. Unfortunately, some people who love dogs aren’t able to adopt one because of unavoidable reasons, such as being allergic to dog fur.
A girl named Violet has been obsessed with dogs ever since she was a toddler. Growing up, Violet met her first best friend, which was her grandparent’s dog named Bailey. Violet would spend a lot of time chasing Bailey around the house, and she would always accompany Bailey whenever he goes out on his daily walks. Bailey’s so obsessed with dogs that the first word that came out of her mouth was the word “dog.”
However, Violet soon developed an allergic reaction to dog fur. For as long as Violet’s dad can remember, Violet has been trying to ask for a dog, especially when it’s her birthday. Violet’s dad, Matt, wanted to adopt a dog as well, but he couldn’t because of Violet’s allergy.
However, Matt was determined to find a solution and decided to research about dogs and allergies. Matt soon learned that Violet’s allergy was limited to specific dogs. Whenever Violet interacted with a pure-bred dog, she didn’t have any problems at all. Matt also learned that particular breeds of dogs are considered hypoallergenic, which would be perfect for Violet.
Instead of buying a hypoallergenic dog from a breeder, Matt decided that it’s much more important to rescue one. So, Matt started calling dog rescues and ended up getting in touch with Cassie’s Place Rescue. After two weeks of waiting, Matt got the call about a hypoallergenic dog named Chloe.
When Matt showed Chloe’s photo to his two girls and told them that they would be adopting Chloe, Violet and her sister were so excited that they started preparing their room to make it dog-friendly. When the day came that Chloe came to her new home, Violet and her sister couldn’t contain their excitement.
Chloe was clearly excited to meet her new human sisters as well. Violet, her sister, and Chloe became inseparable. They would always play together and would often be found cuddling in bed together. Here’s an adorable video showing how Matt found the perfect dog for his family.
