This Small, Fearless, And Feisty Dog Loved To Play With A Great Dane Who Was A Lot Bigger Than She Was

This Small, Fearless, And Feisty Dog Loved To Play With A Great Dane Who Was A Lot Bigger Than She Was

Tanya Williams August 20, 2021

Stories of kittens and puppies who were abandoned and left suffering on the side of the road and other different places have become so common. And it’s hard to really get behind why anyone would just abandon animals, even more so when they’re abandoning animals in their infancy. Sadly, that was the same ill-fated beginning of a puppy named Luna.

When her foster mom Dina first got her, she was just shaking and crying a lot. She was also so scared and weak that she couldn’t even get up on her own. Her meals got fed to her with a spoon set right next to her and she looked so down and seemed like she wanted to be left alone.

Even when got back a bit of her strength a week later, things weren’t looking so good for her. She would start walking slowly but she would just fumble all the time. But slowly, these fumbles turned into solid steps, and eventually, she started getting used to walking without falling over.

After being familiar with the whole walking thing, Luna made her way to exploring and sniffing other dogs and being less scared and a lot happier. She then learned a lot of new things and even started wagging her little tail then came the running. It was then that it felt like she was renewed and got over her rough start.

Then her mom went and set up play dates with her friend’s Great Dane puppy, Zeus, so that she could also socialize. Immediately the two made a connection and despite the huge gap in their size, she was fearless. And from there, they just started to have a really interesting big creature and small creature relationship.

But aside from being fearless, she was also one feisty pup. Luna loved to wake her mom up by lovingly hitting her numerous times. According to Dina, there was just so much personality in her paws.

Luna eventually moved out to a permanent home after getting a lot of applications to adopt her. Her first time in her new home she already smelled around like she owned the place. But then she immediately turned into a cuddly baby, just wagging her tail and being clingy in her first five minutes with her new parents.

Though Luna may have had a very sad and rough start with no one by her side, she did end up with a loving family. And now, she is living her best life.
