A dog named Miles has been wandering the streets of California for about four months. A concerned citizen called a rescuer name Megan Allen to help the dog. Megan responded to the call and immediately drove two hours to the said location. She also spent an entire day gaining the dog’s trust.
Megan gave Miles a few treats, which he gladly took. It showed that Megan was making a lot of progress with getting Miles to trust her. Firefighters from local fire departments even helped out, and they almost caught him.
Unfortunately, Megan ran out of time, and she had to go back to LA. Meghan reached out to a few rescuers that she can work with to team up and catch Miles. One of the rescuers was Danny spanks. He immediately drove to the area to assess the situation.
Danny was unable to get near Miles, so he and Megan decided to meet up to work together. They planned to rescue him a day before Thanksgiving. When Danny arrived in the area, he found a great opportunity because he saw a dog park with a wide-open gate.
He then used hot dogs to lure Miles to that park. He was successful and was able to contain the canine in a closed area. He watched over Miles as he waited for Megan to arrive.
While he was waiting, there was another rescuer with him named Courtney. Miles really took a liking to him. This was great as he was starting to trust a person.
When Megan arrived, they found a strategy that worked. Miles was finally captured and rescued. Miles was then brought to a rescue organization in LA. It was even Courtney who carried him inside the facility.
Miles was fortunate because, after a couple of days, he was sent to a foster home. He was pleased that Miles was out on the streets and with an actual family. This is all thanks to the rescuers who worked together to catch him.
