Dogs are one of the most precious gifts to this world. They are loyal, fun, and reliable. Many humans have guide dogs but have you seen one guiding another dog?
Dexter, a two-year-old Boxer, continues to melt the hearts of everyone with his kindness and sweetness. This precious pup shows us that they are the ultimate best friend anyone can have.
Last December 7, 2020, Dexter’s fur mom posted a heart-warming video on TikTok. In the video, we see Dexter helping his blind brother, Ginger go down the stairs.
The gentle boxer is guiding the smart puggle slowly down the stairway. He makes that Ginger will not fall or hurt himself along the way. Dexter blocks each step with his head before the puggle even takes a single step.
It’s touching to see the thoughtful pup looking back at his brother with each step they take. Dexter always checks up on the blind dog as though making sure the puggle safe.
Throughout the video, the sweet pup shows patience towards Ginger. He did not snap at him nor left him all alone. He always puts his head in the way so he can catch his brother in case he falls.
Although their mom has yet to tell us why Ginger lost his eyesight, it’s clear that the tough puggle is intelligent and well-loved. The adorable ball of fluff is determined to make the most of his life.
Both dogs are inspiring. Like Ginger, we can learn to persist and pursue our goals. Dexter reminds us to be helpful and patient.
In a world where many people are inconsiderate and unkind, Dexter and Ginger show us that there is still some good left. Perhaps we should learn from them and be kinder to each other.
