This one’s another story of a mama dog who got reunited with her puppies. Most moms couldn’t imagine staying away from their babies, so we could say this mom felt relieved when she saw her pups again.
This dog mama’s name is Cora – she gave birth to five beautiful puppies. The furry pets needed medical attention, so they were taken to the Marin Humane Society in Novato, California.
It’s hard for a mom of any species to have their babies taken away from them, but it’s even harder when you don’t have a say in it.
Fortunately, after a couple of weeks, Cora reunited with her babies. At first, she stayed stiff in one corner, getting as far away from humans as possible.
Then Cora caught a whiff of an extremely familiar scent – her puppies were home! The dog rushed towards her little ones, excitedly circling them.
The puppies were also eager to come closer to mama, most probably because of her precious milk. Cora couldn’t wait for the hooman lady to bring all her pups out, and so she entered the cage herself.
When all four furballs were out, Cora sniffed each one of them but rushed back to the cage. Where was her fifth pup?
Unfortunately, the furball died because of a medical condition. Cora didn’t have the means to ask why, but this dog mama knew she was missing one.
It’s okay, doggo, your four other puppies need you. We’re sorry you didn’t get to say goodbye, but you have four adorable little fuzzballs you can still say hello to.
Cora didn’t forget to thank the incredible humans who took care of her pups. She kept rubbing her body against the lady’s leg, and Cora welcomed the generous body rubs given.
This mom will never forget the kindness these strangers have shown.
