It’s a given how dogs, especially large breeds, become protective of their humans. They like keeping their favorite people safe. However, one German Shepherd developed an unusual trait; he likes doing household chores.
Baron, a two-year-old loyal German Shepherd, has been with his family since he was 12 weeks old. He is living with only his fur mom Linda, and four-year-old human brother, Alexander, and Baron contributes all that he can for them.
Linda is a dog trainer, and she trained Baron the day he got home, and she immediately saw his big potential and intelligence. His intelligence is just one of the very few amazing traits that impressed his mom.
This small family gets all the help they need by having each other, and Baron does so well. This helpful pooch likes loading and unloading the washer and dryer, loading the dishwasher, dusting, mopping and sweeping the floors, cleaning the windows, and turning off the light switches.
Since Baron has been with the family from a young age, he bonded really well with his sibling, Alexander. Mom says the two are always together.
Whenever Alexander forgets to put the toilet seat up, Baron would do it for him. He would also help pack away the young boys’ toys, and Alexander does the same for Baron. He would help his pup with his stuff.
The most amusing role of Baron on Alexanders’ life is how protective he would be. Mom describes him as an overprotective dad to Alexander, especially when they are outside. Baron won’t take his eyes off his tiny human.
As they walk, Baron would stay beside Alexander, pushing him to stay beside mom, and if someone comes to talk to them, the protective pooch will stay in between the stranger and his family. If Alexander falls and cries, his buddy Baron would be the first to come to his side.
This amazing dog is such a wonderful part of their family. Even after all the tiring chores he does, he would still want to play with mom to make her smile at the end of the day. There’s no doubt about the loyalty and love this dog could give for his family. Mom vouches that Baron would definitely give his life for them if he needed to.
